I Am Back on My Feet Almost

It took them quite a bit of time to put Humpty Dumpty back together again I am sure, although that is not a good analogy since all the king’s men could not do that. It took a whole bunch of doctors and physical therapists and a chiropractor in Sacramento to fix me up so that I could move around normally. At first those people at the hospital would not even let me get out of the bed to use the bathroom. They wanted me to poop into this bedpan and I did not like that idea at all. It was all that I could do to keep myself from telling them what they could do with that thing. When I decided that I was not going to do like they said they set up this floor alarm that would go off when I put my feet upon the floor. They seemed really concerned about me falling down, but I told them that if I fell down I would get back up.

At any rate they started me out in a wheel chair and they kept giving me some sort of pain medicine that messed up my head and made me feel really weird. I told them to stop, but that led to a lot of pain. Still I only took a small amount of drugs where I could manage it. The truth is that I am really afraid of that stuff, as I know people that got hooked on them after starting out with a doctor’s orders. At any rate the pain was in my back and it was obvious to the doctor’s that I needed to see a chiropractor. They showed me the x rays and that was not very enlightening until they explained to me why I needed him.
