Recovering Nicely from a Work Injury

The company sent me to see a chiropractor in Santa Rosa after I was injured at the warehouse. I’ve done warehouse work for most of my life and let me tell you there isn’t a person in this field who hasn’t seen their fair share of injuries. I know I’ve had many over the years. It’s either getting run over with a forklift, throwing out your back, or having something fall on you from a shelf. I’ve had all of this happen and more. Most companies don’t really care, either. Fortunately, the company I work for now cares about their employees.

Of course, they always have us visit a chiropractor first due to the sheer number of muscle injuries. Most muscle injuries can be cured by techniques involving stretching and pulling. I’ve been to doctors and even surgeons for some injuries, but they don’t have anything on chiropractors when it comes to an old fashioned muscle pull or sprain. That’s why I was glad the company wanted to send me to a chiropractor. Some of the guys had already paid a visit and they said he did a great job with their injuries. So off I went to see what would happen.

The problem was in my shoulder and the chiropractor took a look and said it wasn’t the worst thing he’d seen. I had to go in a couple of times, but sure enough he restored the range of motion to my shoulder. Even better, the pain disappeared quite quickly. The best part of the whole situation is that I was only out of work for about a week. I’ve had previous injuries that had me laid up for a month. It’s nice to go to a chiropractor and know you’re going to be back at work and earning a paycheck in no time at all.
